										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Latest sensor technology for optimal measurement results</strong></p>
<p>Due to the stable design, our Leeb rebound sensors are ideally suited for everyday use on massive components in the industrial work environments. The &#8220;2-in-1 concept&#8221; enables the parallel use of Leeb rebound sensors and UCI (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) measuring probes with the SONODUR 3 device.</p>
<p>The measured values are evaluated via an app based on the future-proof Android software platform. All information is visible at a glance. The measured values are statistically summarized and individually displayed in result lists as well as by means of graphical representation and tolerance thresholds in a user-friendly manner. The measured values can be exported for further data processing.<br />
The operating principle of the Leeb rebound method consists of accelerating an impact body, at the front end of which is a hard metal ball, with a defined energy against the surface of the material to be measured. The impact of the hard metal ball causes a deformation of the surface, which leads to a loss of acceleration energy. This energy loss is determined by measuring the velocity and from this a hardness value is calculated in Leeb.</p>
<p>Areas of application are large, solid test parts with a minimum component weight requirement of 5 kg and a minimum thickness greater than 25 mm (SONO HLD).</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Repeatable, uniform application of force into the material to achieve highly accurate measurements</strong></p>
<p>The rugged, mechanical construction of the motorized measuring probes is designed for everyday industrial use. The massive housing made of anodized aluminum protects the sophisticated mechanics. This provides high long-term stability of the probe in order to guarantee high accuracy requirements for measurement precision. The modern signal processing in the probe with standard USB interface to the display device allows universal adaptation to most devices.</p>
<p>In addition, the probes can be used in a highly variable manner. Thanks to the integrated motor control, the adjustable test load application time (penetration time), and the variety of probe feet, the measurement can be controlled manually, semi-automatically or fully automatically.</p>
<p>Our motorized measuring probes can be used with both the SONODUR 3 mobile hardness tester and the SONODUR R, which was developed for fully automatic production.</p>
<p>The intelligent measuring system of each probe covers the entire hardness range of the classic Vickers scale. Motor measuring probes operate with significantly lower test forces than hand-held probes, making them particularly suitable for sensitive surfaces on which only minimal test indentations are to be made. The field of application includes thin, sensitive surface layers such as in the printing industry, for pistons and plating as well as sensitive components/materials or the measurement of surface hardness in the copper gravure printing industry or the automotive industry.</p>
<p>Our probes work according to the UCI hardness testing method. Here, the probe rod is excited to oscillate in longitudinal direction with its natural frequency. At the lower end there is a Vickers diamond which is pressed into the material to be tested. A defined load is applied via a spring system. When the Vickers diamond penetrates the specimen, this vibration is damped and a frequency shift occurs, which can be measured. From this frequency shift, we calculate the hardness value using the Vickers scale after the nominal test force has been reached with the final position of the motor and after the programmed penetration time has elapsed.</p>
<p>The main difference in the procedure compared to the classical Vickers hardness test is, among other things, that the contact area of the Vickers diamond is responsible for the frequency shift of the vibrating rod. In contrast, in classical hardness testing, the indentation of the diamond must be measured optically.</p>

<p>The hand-held measuring probes are designed for everyday use. The robust stainless-steel housing is corrosion resistant and the basis for the special, long-life probe technology that is inside.</p>
<p>Our hand-held measuring probes can be used with both the SONODUR 3 mobile hardness tester and the SONODUR R developed for fully automated production.</p>
<p>The intelligent measuring system of each probe covers the entire hardness range of the classic Vickers scale. The hand-held probes are suitable for measurements of metals, industrial ceramics and, with certain restrictions, also for highly heterogeneous materials such as cast iron (nodular cast iron e.g. GJS500).</p>
<p>Our probes work according to the UCI hardness testing method (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance). During this process, the probe rod is excited to vibrate in the longitudinal direction with its natural frequency. At the lower end there is a Vickers diamond which is pressed into the material to be tested. A defined load is applied via a spring. When the Vickers diamond penetrates the specimen, this vibration is damped and a frequency shift occurs, which can be measured. When the nominal test force is reached, we calculate the hardness value from this frequency shift using the Vickers scale and display it immediately.</p>
<p>The biggest difference in the method compared to the classical Vickers hardness test is, among other things, that the contact surface of the Vickers diamond is responsible for the frequency shift of the vibrating rod. Whereas in classical hardness testing, the impression of the diamond must be measured optically.</p>

<p>With its 19&#8243; housing dimensions, the SONODUR R is ideally suited to be used in fully automated production lines and as a tabletop device. The familiar android-based software of the SONODUR 3 is optimally adapted to the clear 7&#8243; LED touch screen of the SONODUR R.</p>
<p>Thanks to USB and a fully isolated, digital I/O interface, the device is currently the only fully automatable UCI hardness measuring system in the world. Setpoints can be used to directly control actuators such as good/bad sorting switches.</p>
<p>The SONODUR R combines all the advantages of the SONODUR 3 mobile hardness tester with the requirements of a device for integration into a fully automated process line.</p>
<p>All UCI SONODUR handheld and motor probes can be used without restrictions due to high-resolution, digital signal processing technology. The instrument works with wired probes of the SONO H/M/S series. These are available in different versions and test forces. Hand-held probes are available with standard test loads of 10 N, 30 N, 49 N and 98 N. Motor probes are available in 1 N, 3 N and 8.6 N versions.</p>
<p>The main areas of application are the measurement of series parts after heat treatment and/or surface processing as well as coating hardness measurement on gravure cylinders.</p>

<p>The mobile SONODUR 3 is robust, suitable for industrial use and specially designed and built for rough everyday use. It has a high functionality level similar to that of modern smartphones. The powerful energy concept has up to eight hours of battery life in continuous operation.</p>
<p>The software of the SONODUR 3 is based on the future-proof Android platform with almost any expansion possibilities. The device is thus ideally equipped for daily use as a &#8220;workhorse&#8221; in hardening and industrial plants with outdoor operations as well as for tasks that are increasingly being discussed today in connection with comprehensive communication in production lines, keyword IOT.</p>
<p>The SONODUR 3 masters the evaluations of the hardness testing methods UCI (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) and the rebound hardness testing according to Leeb:</p>
<p>In the area of UCI hardness testing, the instrument works with cable-connected probes of the SONO-H/M/S series. These are available in different versions and test loads. Hand-held probes are available in the standard test loads 10 N, 30 N, 49 N and 98 N. Motor probes are available in 1 N, 3 N and 8.6 N versions. For tripod probes, there are test forces of 10 N, 49 N, 98 N.</p>
<p>The sensors for rebound hardness testing according to Leeb are connected wirelessly, via Bluetooth with the SONODUR 3. The SONO L rebound sensors are available in the D-C/D/G version.</p>
<p>The mobile high-tech all-rounder is used for quality control in incoming goods and during production, as well as for rapid hardness testing of metallic materials after heat treatment or surface processing. The system is also excellently suited for hardness testing at positions that are difficult to access and for mobile weld seam testing in confined spaces. The layer hardness measurement with several measuring points and its easy adjustment functions on almost all fine-grained, homogeneous materials round off the SONODUR 3&#8217;s range of applications.</p>

<p><strong>Description</strong></p>
<p>Analog Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers Hardness Tester NOVOTEST TB-BRV is designed as universal one, it can be used in industry, scientific research laboratories, plants and workshops, etc.</p>
<p>Hardness Tester NOVOTEST TB-BRV has a new design and provides high usability and high repeatability of the results and also is very easy in operation.</p>
<p>This hardness tester uses a multi-stage test load and different types of indenter to measure and determine the hardness value of tested products in different scales: Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers.</p>
<p>Hardness tester is supplied with a special table which allows user to measure the diameters of imprints without removing the sample. The hardness tester has special stand for the microscope, which significantly simplifies operating the device.</p>
<p>The device has an electric actuator – the main test load is completely automated.</p>
<p>Hardness tester provides the high sensitivity and accuracy of the load level, and the high accuracy of the measuring values. The machine has built-in high precision microscope with backlighting.</p>
<p>Tester application with different methods allows user to solve almost all hardness measurement tasks: hardness measurement of different materials and in a wide range – from very soft up to the hardest materials.</p>

<p>Digital Vickers Hardness Tester NOVOTEST TB-V-50 is modern and high-tech instrument with small test loads (up to 50 kgf), which is equipped by manual turret and analog microscope with <strong>automatic data input</strong>. The unit is highly reliable, has many operational functions, and is very easy to operate.</p>
<p>The instrument has high-precision optical measuring system and photoelectric sensor. Using keyboard the device allows user to select the testing method; choose hardness scales (HV or HK); set the dwell time; set the intensity of the light source; save the results of measuring in the internal device storage; set time, date  operator id, etc.</p>
<p>All testing data such as: testing method; testing force value; testing indentation length; hardness value; dwell time of testing load; numbers of measurement can be displayed on its large LCD screen.</p>
<p>PC connection and data (measurement results) transfer available via RS232 interface. Also, all the information can be printed via built-in printer.</p>

<p>Hardness tester has a large contrast display. The device is handy and easy to set up and operate.</p>
<p>NOVOTEST TC-MCV-1A is the model with <strong>automatic data input</strong> from measuring microscope and manual turret.</p>
<p>Hardness tester has a large LCD screen with easy operating menu. The device is equipped with built-in printer.</p>
<p>NOVOTEST TC-MCV-1A has optical microscope for measuring the obtained diagonals of the imprints.  Hardness values are calculated fully automatically, no manual tables are used. Operator sees ready hardness value on LCD screen.</p>
<p>Hardness tester has such function as: automatic hardness calculation, storage, display, printing of results and conversion of hardness value to different scales.</p>
<p>This machine can be used as metallographic microscope tissue, when it can match with computer, install the CCD camera and PC software. The hardness tester can become micro hardness meter using image processing. Its function is very powerful, which is the ideal test instrument nowadays.</p>
